R-Space develops specialised satellite platforms that generate, process, and assess essential surveillance data in orbit and deliver the results to customers in real time.
R-Space is an Austrian space company developing specialised satellite platforms for surveillance applications, including Earth observation and radio-frequency intelligence. R-Space was founded in 2021 to give technology developers faster, more accessible, and cost-efficient opportunities to validate upstream technologies in orbit. Through this work, the R-Space team identified a growing need for faster data processing and high-throughput communications across space-based applications. R-Space is responding to that need with ARGUS, a high-performance satellite platform designed for real-time situational awareness and control. By bringing together data acquisition, in orbit analysis, and decision making, the platform aims to increase the speed at which surveillance data can be processed, assessed, and used.
